How To Make Wrinkles With Makeup

But it's so fun!

Okay... I'll be more than specific.  Let'south put on stage makeup for old age.  I promise, it's a lot of fun.

I totally freaked out my kids and husband.  The kids were watching me and saying how creepy I looked and asking me why I was doing this.  My eldest daughter wants me to practice this for Halloween.  My youngest son said no to the creepy old lady face.  My married man jumped when I turned around.  So satisfying... I think.

Let's do this.

Materials needed:  Highlight, Shadow, chocolate-brown eye liner, 2 pocket-sized/medium flat brushes, and ii wide apartment brushes.

This kit is the one I used in theatre for higher. It'southward got everything.

Nowadays, if you search for Ben Nye products all you'll run into is Banana powder. Stinking Kardashians.

Y'all can get a smaller personal kit if you'd similar, instead of the total kit.

Here I am.  Yes, that'searlier the quondam lady makeup, you lot dirty rat.  This is me at the stop of a long day, okay. And then there!  Yeah, I did stick out my tongue.  I pulled back my bangs and hair then I could get to work. Y'all should too.

Start with a fresh, clean face.

Put on a practiced foundation to fifty-fifty out your confront for a good base of operations. If your face is notoriously oily, I definitely recommend y'all put on a good primer first.

If yous see a white arrow that is where you highlight.  If you meet a black pointer that is where you shadow, etc.

Also, beginning with the highlights first.  You put in the large area of highlights, so the shading.  Then you lot add the specific highlights in after.  Don't worry, I'll walk you through information technology.

Forehead

Now we'll add in some wrinkles.  To do this:

1. Raise your eyebrows to contraction your forehead up.  Good.
2. Draw a flat line in each wrinkle.

• Draw in the shadow, then add a highlight underneath!  Easy!

Nose

With sometime historic period your nose is bigger.  It's unfortunate, but truthful.  I'm making my nose wider and my nostrils bigger.

2. Blend upwards.

Lips

In sometime age your lips become thinner.  Boo.  To do this is simple.

1. Put foundation or highlighter over your lips.
2. On your bottom lip add a natural lip color, merely just within your natural lip line.
3. On the top lip add together a darker color also within the lip line.
4. Add contouring with some shading and highlighting to the surrounding mouth expanse.
5. Add wrinkles to your lips.  Washed and washed.

Jaw

• Add highlight in a scallop motion alongside your jawline (above the ridge). It's like a iii, lying on its back, but 3 scallops, instead of two.

• Add together triangles of highlight underneath your scallop.  (Run across the picture below)

• Take your shadow and showtime at the meridian border of the bottom highlight.  Is that disruptive enough?  Make it a hard border.
• Then blend the shadow upwardly to meet the top scallop.  You don't want a hard edge where those two see.

Before, During, and After

Now, go dorsum and bear on up annihilation you lot'd similar.  Your face up may not be perfectly symmetrical, don't worry almost it.  Remember, this is phase makeup.  It'due south best seen at a far altitude, not right up close.  It'll however await pretty dang sugariness though.
